Reminder that the Advanced Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Series will make their debut visit to the North Central Speedway in Brainerd, MN on the night before Princeton. Please contact North Central Speedway for tickets to that event.

Tickets are on sale for the PolyDome Princeton National. This year the Advanced Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Series will visit the 1/4 mile dirt oval for ONE NIGHT ONLY, Saturday October 4th, 2008.

That does not mean you can only see the Outlaws in Minnesota one time. On Friday October 3rd they will be at the North Central Speedway in Brainerd, MN. To purchase tickets for that event call 218-829-2231. http://www.racencs.net/

Last weeks inaugural World of Outlaws sprint car race at the Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa was a huge success! Thanks to all the fans, help, sponsors, fairboard members, volunteers, family and Mother Nature.

The track held up nicely due to the expert help of the Knoxville Raceway track crew, along with Ike and his helpers in Spencer.

The weather was beautiful, a cool evening, but a light jacket was the most that was necessary to keep the chill off.

Track incidents were held to only 2 caution flags, 1 for a flat tire and the other for a car spinning into the infield. No crashes, no equipment torn up and the new wall in turns 3 and 4 wasn't touched!

All went extremely well from the unique ribbon cutting to the final fireworks, and in a timely manner. The race was over early enough to catch some late night fair food or a final ride on the ferris wheel.
